Hello and thank you for stopping by today. My name is Ray Meinhardt and I am a writer who enjoys a real passion for story telling. I am a biker that loves to ride the roads of South Texas. I have always been known for telling an entertaining story or two just to get people to laugh. I know that you are thinking “Why the stuffed pig?”  Bikers are always portrayed as bad boys, rough and tough, people who you want to avoid.  The little pink guy you see is Pig and he is my riding partner, he goes everywhere with me. I use Pig as the catalyst for my stories. The stories of our adventures are filtered through him as I try to show what the biker world looks like through his eyes. I have to admit, there are people who don’t take to Pig very well and I accept that.  Those people just remind of what Albert Einstein once said “Great spirits will always encounter violent opposition from mediocre minds.” When you read about Pig and his adventures, keep an open mind. He shows the spirit of a true biker. I just leave it up to the reader to determine what parts of our adventures that are true and what parts that are not.

I am currently working on my first book about Pig and his adventures. I see irony in many forms everyday and wonder why some things in this world have to be the way they are. I always said through the years “You know what? I need to write this stuff down in a book”. And that my friend is what I do now for fun and enjoyment.

Being a two-wheeled thunder jockey, we bikers face the dangers of the open road everytime we straddle our bikes. We ride to enjoy the experience of freedom as the wind blows through our hair. The biker community is a tight knit group that is always very supportive of those in need within our communities. In the past, bikers have always been looked upon as hoodlums and troublemakers (we leave that part up to the 1%’ers). The only thing we ask is that when you see us; don’t run away in the other direction. Do us little favor, just show us a little respect and give us some room out there on the road.
